After you leave completed natal-location fields, the place, hospital, and landmark text is sent through our proxy to Photon once—not on every keystroke. The nearby directory sends coordinates, category, and radius to public Overpass/OSRM services; registrar search also sends the completed query to Photon. If you enable live GPS, updates remain in the page and are not stored; only the current origin is sent when you submit a directory search. Community place results are cached in D1, but origins and GPS history are not.

AI processing

Gita, learning, and ceremony review

Questions, selected learning topics, consented ceremony clips, and fixed site-copy strings selected for language translation are sent to the configured AI processor. User-entered form values, coordinates, provider-result addresses, Sanskrit, and video titles are excluded from the site-copy translator. Translations are cached in D1. Requests use server-side credentials and disable response storage where supported. Astro Vedic Path does not store uploaded audio or ceremony transcripts, but processor retention follows the platform account’s data controls.

The mantra and yoga pages use privacy-enhanced YouTube players only after you press Play. Public view statistics are refreshed through the official YouTube Data API when the server credential is configured and cached for six hours; otherwise a dated editorial snapshot is shown. YouTube receives data when its player or link is opened.

Astrology and Muhurta scope

Astro Vedic Path provides traditional, cultural, and reflective material. It does not promise factual birthplace prediction, scientifically certain future events, or one universally valid Muhurta. A qualified priest must review regional, family, and participant-specific rules.

Map and time-zone data

Automatic address resolution uses the public Photon demo endpoint and displays OpenStreetMap attribution. Photon permits reasonable project use, may throttle extensive traffic, provides no availability guarantee, and may change without notice. The optional Google Maps URL path only parses coordinates already in your link—it is not Google Cloud and does not scrape Google Maps. Geographic time-zone boundaries come from the 2026c timezone-boundary dataset under ODbL and are evaluated locally.

Directory and directions

Temple, temple-service, registrar, and cremation results are community map listings, not verified endorsements. Results are restricted to the selected radius and ordered by OSRM road distance when available, with a labelled great-circle fallback. Live tracking requires browser geolocation permission; IP addresses are used only for abuse-rate limiting, never to infer location. Opening Google or OpenStreetMap navigation hands the origin and destination to that provider. Confirm address, deity, services, hours, accessibility, fees, legal jurisdiction, documents, and urgent arrangements directly.

Mantra, video, and yoga

Popularity data describes public engagement and does not establish ritual authority, accuracy, safety, or suitability. Embedded media remains under its publisher’s terms and can change or become unavailable. Public mantra entries do not authorise initiated practice. Yoga content is general education; use qualified individual guidance for advanced, adaptive, prenatal, postnatal, therapeutic, breath-retention, inversion, or medically constrained practice.

Language bar

English is the editorial source. Other interface languages may be AI-translated and cached. Proper names, Sanskrit, numbers, and warnings are intended to remain intact, but translation can be incomplete or wrong; check critical legal, safety, booking, and ritual text against English.

Priest marketplace

A submitted request or application is not a confirmed booking, endorsement, credential, price, or public listing. Training and tradition fields are voluntary descriptions subject to manual review. Astro Vedic Path does not match or exclude priests by caste. Parties must agree fees, travel, materials, safeguarding, venue rules, cancellation, and ceremony scope before service.

AI and recordings

AI-generated explanations, translations, transcripts, and comparisons may be incomplete or wrong. Ceremony review requires every recorded participant’s informed consent and cannot certify ritual validity. Uploaded clips are processed for the immediate request and are not stored by Astro Vedic Path; the processor’s account-level retention controls still apply.
